FALL IS UPON US

It was good to be back in Southaven Mississippi to celebrate Spiritual Emphasis Week with the students of SBEC. With our new friend, student speaker Ed Newton, we had an amazing time and witnessed God do some unbelievable things. From numerous decisions for Christ to students surrendering their lives to missions and ministry, it was evident all over the campus that God was at work. During our down time, the guys and I had the opportunity to stroll down Beale Street and feast on Memphis’s most famous BBQ ribs at The Legendary Rendezvous. If you’re ever in the area, you must check it out!

It was a busy week as we arrived back in Nashville, and immediately caught a flight down to Melrose Florida for The Church At Argyle’s student retreat. It was fun seeing everyone again and getting the opportunity to hang out with Rich and Mindy Painter.

There’s a lot going on in Nashville as we finally start wrapping up the new record. It has taken quite a bit longer than first expected, but we are in the final stages and will soon be headed to print. Here in Tennessee this weekend Lena and I will be celebrating our one-year anniversary. It’s flown by! Marriage has been amazing and we look forward to the years ahead. I hope you are all doing great and taking some time to enjoy this great fall weather.
